** HOW TO PLAY QUATRIS II+ **
1. Rules
If you know how to play Tetris, please press PgDn key in your cursor pad
to skip this section and go to section 2. If you are a first time
player, do not use any of the bombs until you have mastered the whole
concept of playing the basics of Quatris described in this page.
These are the basic rules for playing Quatris II+ which are similar to
Tetris: You are given objects composed of 2 or more blocks, such as the
ones shown below which will fall from the top of the Quatris Well.
@SOBJ
As these objects fall down slowly from the top of the screen, you can
rotate them by pressing the up arrow key and move them left, right, and
down using the other arrow cursor keys.
You are to rotate and guide these objects to the bottom of the well in a
way so that they will all "fit" together as if you were playing a jig-saw
puzzle--you should allow no blank spaces between them. If you make a
mistake, don't worry about them at this point.
When one or more rows are filled with no blank spaces in between, those
rows will disappear. You are to repeat this process of deleting the rows
so that the objects don't stack up to the top.

2. Other Features
You can use Regular, Super, or Match bomb by pressing "1", "2", or "3,"
repectively. Again, if you are a first time player, using the bombs at
this point can give you a wrong idea of how this game works.
With over 50 challenging object shapes in the current commercial version,
Quatris II+ is a tournament style game that can take hours to complete.
For the player's convenience, Quatris II+ lets the player save the game
and continue at a later time. To save the game, simply press [ESC] and
your game will be saved using your NAME as the file name with ".SAV"
extension in the Quatris II+ directory. This is the same file where your
keyboard configuration is also stored.
You will see new and different object shapes as your level increases. The
size of the Quatris Well also changes as your game level increases to give
you the most challenging experience of your life.
--PLEASE TYPE "READDOC" AT THE DOS PROMPT FOR DETAILED INFORMATION--
--------------------- >> WINDOWS 3.1 USERS << ----------------------
There is a new icon file ("Q2PLUS.ICO") for Quatris II+ to be
used with your Windows Program Manager. Read QMANUAL.DOC Windows
section for instructions on manual installation. Try pressing
CTRL-ESC or ALT-ESC while running Quatris II+ to switch between
other Windows programs.
